Rhino is a rare white color born

A similar white rhino was born for the first time in 20 years at Ramat Gan Zoo, near Israel's capital Tel Aviv.

"It has been 20 years since a female rhino was born at this zoo. That means it will live here with us even after it matures. And it is a great happiness. "The Times of Israel quoted Mr. Rami Tam, who is in charge of African animals at the zoo, said.

Typically, males in Ramat Gan will be transferred to other zoos to promote reproduction rates in white rhinos. This is an animal that was once considered extinct and is now classified as a species that needs protection from threats such as poaching.

Ramat Gan zoo staff said they were very happy to realize that Tanda's mother rhino showed weight gain and the mammary gland also grew bigger. The female rhino was discovered in Tanda's cage after she was laboring in the middle of the night. Before long, Tanda also gave birth to a male rhino.
