This species was later declared officially extinct in Vietnam!

The line of rhino horn hunting and trading is extremely different because hunting takes place in Africa while the illegal market is in Vietnam and China. According to TRAFFIC reports, 448 rhino individuals were killed in South Africa in 2011.
