Memorial rhino with postcard
Endangered Animal Protection (WAR) announced the postcard to commemorate the dead rhino at Cat Tien National Park.
The front of the postcard features a rhino skeleton with a cut horn and the words "The last rhino in Vietnam?". The back of the postcard is a single horned rhinoceros image taken in the forest and information about this particular rare animal.
The rhino memorial card of WAR has a size of 13 X 18 cm.
In addition to the purpose of memorial, the release of this postcard will be a practical activity to raise people's awareness and responsibility in preserving rhinos and other rare and precious wildlife species.
It is expected that the rhino memorial postcard will be distributed free of charge to WAR, teenagers and all interested people.
On April 29, 2010, in the subdivision 513, Cat Tien National Park, Lam Dong, forest rangers found the body of a single rhinoceros. On May 27, the working group of the International Fund for Nature Protection (WWF) concluded: poachers shot this rhino to get horns.
