Robot testing the foundation

Japanese company Sanyo has introduced robot Yuka shita can check the floor or the construction area. This robot will be on sale next year.

Yuka shita looks like a small tank, is equipped with a camera and fully automatic, can move in small space and complex. Robots will help people check for damage, malfunction of the foundation, or cracks or suds in homes.

Yuka shita uses image processing technology, self-avoiding obstacles to move and control the direction of rotation of the camera. After each charge, the robot can operate for 140 minutes.

When moving, the robot will record the observation images from the camera and send it to the operator to check the condition of the house or building foundation. The robot will be sold widely in Japan in 2008 for 1 million yen ($ 8,879).
