Russia develops 'space taxi'
Russian company Energia is developing a "space taxi" that allows people to be brought to the moon.
According to Energia, the draft plan called "Ryvok" will use 11.4-ton re-use spacecraft to bring cargo and astronauts to the moon in five days. With the project "Ryvok" , Energia said, the company will be able to cut the cost of a trip to the "moon" by about a third of the manned spacecraft in a government project by parking. in the middle of the road from the earth to the moon and not to use rockets.
Energia is developing a plan for a space taxi to take people to the moon for as low as one-third of the project of the Russian government.
Before the Russian ship departs on the moon, Energia will take "accelerator" to the space station as a refueling task for Ryvok. Thanks to the reduced cost, the price of flights to the moon is also "more pleasant" , enabling many people to explore the extraterrestrial world.
This is the plan to continue Russia's efforts in conquering the "moon". Earlier, Roscosmos, the Russian government's aerospace agency, plans to bring people to the moon in 2029. Roscosmos intends, the first flight into space is expected in 2021. Next, the ship Russia's pillar will land at the ISS International Space Station in 2023. By 2025, Roscosmos will bring unmanned spacecraft to the moon before bringing people up in 2029.
