Russia put into production of nanofiltration
The city of Kemerovo (Siberia) launches nano-separated air purifiers and air purifiers.
With nanoparticle porous structure, the nanoparticles are capable of effectively cleaning the air in coal mines, exhaust gases from thermal power plants. The technology attracts the attention of large oil and coal companies in China, CIS countries and Europe.
Kemerovo's nanoparticles consist of: carbon-fiber webs placed in nitrogen generators and air pumps under high pressure. The filter separates the nitrogen and oxygen gas. High oxygen content is stored and transported to the user. The new air is purified to 99% nitrogen and rich in oxygen (up to 60%). Alexander Berveno, managing director of Kuzbass's Absorption Technology Company, has talked with Russia's Voice of Russia about the potential and advantages of the Kemerovo gas filter:
'We own a rich product line of sorbents, overseas there are not many companies involved in scale production in this field. For example, materials made by Chinese manufacturers only filter out nitrogen. We can also release hydrogen from different gases, clean air, accumulate methane, carbon dioxide. "
Kemerovo's experts also have many other advantages such as energy savings, long shelf life, no replacement required frequently, cheap factor compared to other gas separators. Kemerovo's application will reduce the cost of producing gases such as helium, nitrogen and hydrogen by three to five times.
"Our technology is energy efficient, " says Berveno. "Our usual energy savings are from 800 to 1000 degrees Celsius. But we do that at 400 degrees Celsius. We have a low ash content, which does not require an alkaline filter, so that the production process meets the standards of clean environment. "
Technology began to be studied in 2008. Currently the authors are in the process of applying for a patent. According to Berveno, Kemerovo recently introduced a 20-ton model. The expansion of the 400-ton model requires investment and time of about a year and a half.
However, the facility has received pre-orders from many major oil companies in the CIS, as well as Europe and Asia. In particular, businesses have repeatedly received contact from representatives of venture capital funds and even the Chinese embassy. "We will continue the contacts and discuss the possibility of cooperation," said the director of 'Kuzbass Absorber' .
