Russia will be the only country to bring travelers to the ISS

According to President of Russian spacecraft manufacturing group RKK Energia Nikolai Sevastianov, NASA Aerospace Agency is expected to gradually withdraw the shuttles' operation from now until 2010. Mr. Sevastianov said the Soyuz ship now takes three astronauts and 50kg cargo to Earth. Rkk Energia plans to make a copy of the ship that will allow 500kg of cargo to be delivered to Earth.

He said: 'Now no one expects to give up or sink the ISS Station because all countries know that the international space station really becomes a production unit in space. The normal operation of the station is expected until 2015. But now people have begun to debate the possibility of lasting until 2025 '.

RKK Energia suggested turning the ISS Station into a regular base. 'If the station is closed, people will find it difficult to implement a similar project , ' said Sevastianov.
