According to officials in charge of the operation, the Dnepr rocket's engine stopped operating 86 seconds after the start of the flight.

The missile falls about 25 km away from the starting point.There were no casualties on the ground, but all 18 satellites were destroyed.Most of the satellites are launched for foreign customers, including the US and Italy.In particular, Belka, Belarus's first man-made object is taken out into space.Belarus's President Alexander Lukashenko had previously gone to Baikonur to attend the launch.His reaction was unknown when the incident occurred.
