"The last time and place, where the debris falls, may change depending on the influence of external factors , " Itar-Tass quoted Colonel Aleksey Zolotukhin, Russian Air Force spokesman, said.

Kosmos-1441 is a satellite that detects military signals of the former Soviet Union. It was launched from the Plesetsk space airport base in 1983, using a Vostok rocket. This is part of a system of military reconnaissance satellites, designed with the function of detecting radio transmitting objects, their types and modes of operation. Kosmos-1441 is said to end the mission in February 1984.

Experts of the Russian Space Force are still maintaining control and tracking of Kosmos-1441. Satellite is orbiting the Earth at an inclination of 81 degrees, the farthest point is 215 km and the nearest point is 204 km.

Earlier, the agency confirmed the Kosmos-1939 satellite that once fell into the Caribbean on October 29.

According to RT, about 160-400kg of debris from Russian, US and German satellites in the universe fell into the Pacific region. However, they rarely cause serious incidents.
