Scientists discover the heart's

You may never notice it, but the tree is still vibrating despite no wind.

Scientists have discovered that plants move every minute and follow the cycle as if they have their own 'heartbeat' .

Researchers from Denmark and Hungary investigated the overnight movement of 21 tree species using ground-based laser scanning technology - a highly accurate three-dimensional survey technique.

This movement involves changing water pressure in plants.

The researchers found frequent changes throughout the entire plant and shorter than a day and night cycle.

Andras Zlinszky at Aarhu University said: 'We have discovered an unprecedented form of movement. It happens on every centimeter within two to six hours'.

But why does that happen? Researchers believe that plants are pumping water. According to Zlinszky, this movement involves changing the water pressure in the plants .

Researchers note that other factors such as disease will also affect plant movement.

Like some previous studies, scientists also discovered that plants lower branches at night and enter a "sleep cycle".
