Search for landmarks nearly 5 meters long on the banks of the Polish river
The mold can be a domestic pet but is released naturally by the owner when it is out of control.
A group of 80 volunteers, police, firefighters, 4 unmanned aerial vehicles and 4 ships are scouring the banks of the Vistula River, south of Warsaw, Poland, to find a 4.9 meter long python , Telegraph reported on July 16. The search began after a new piece of python skin peeled off was discovered here more than a week ago. So far, experts have not yet obtained any more traces of the python.
Authorities warned it could be hungry and aggressive. Piaseczno town police ask people to stay away from the river until they find a landmark. Wildlife experts are analyzing more than 2,000 photos taken by the device in hopes of detecting the animal.

Mold pythons are indigenous species in India, Sri Lanka and East Indies. They can be up to 6 meters long and swallow a whole deer. Up to now, the world has not recorded any cases of cannibalism. If panic, they can bite, even break their limbs by squeezing the victim, according to Adam Hryniewicz, zoologist at Warsaw Zoo.
The ability to naturally camouflage it is not easily detected, zoo director Radoslaw Ratajszczak said. In addition, the current cool weather in Poland makes it not very active and the search becomes more difficult.
Ratajszczak said authorities may need to expand the scope of the search."The moldy python is a swimming hand. If you go to the Vistula river and swim along the line, it can travel as far as 100km , " he said. However, he also gave the possibility that animals cannot tolerate cold weather.
Causes of python appear near the river have not been determined. It may have been kept as a pet, but the owner released it naturally when it was out of control, the reptile experts said. Authorities have opened an investigation because this python action is dangerous for people.
