See snake head 2 albino in Ukraine

A rare 2-headed albino snake is being exhibited at a zoo in southern Ukraine.

The AP news agency reported that the zoo " Skazka " (" Fairy Tale ") in Yalta city on the shores of the Black Sea, southern Ukraine, has decided to allow visitors to see a rare two-headed albino snake. they borrowed from the Germans.

According to zoo employees, this is a snake belonging to the king snake (kingsnake), originating from California (USA) and suffering from albinism. It is 3 years old, with a 60cm body length.

Especially, the two heads of snakes can think, react and eat separately, even snatching each other's food even if they share a stomach. One of the heads looks less flexible than the other.

Oleg Zubkov - Skazka zoo director, sometimes a head crawls in one direction while the other head crawls in the other direction. When hungry, the two heads are ready to attack and plunge to fight each other's food instinctively. It is these characteristics that make caregivers make a barrier between the heads of the snake when feeding it.

Statistics show that the number of visitors to the zoo has almost doubled since the two-headed albino snake was exhibited here since the beginning of July. It is expected that this rare snake will continue to remain in the zoo. Ukraine until next September.
