Video: Strange sight of the snake's head turning back to bite itself
An American man who was able to capture the strange sight of the severed head of a cobra suddenly turned to bite the body.
The author of this impressive video is Sam Billeter from Huntsville in Alabama, USA. Mr. Billeter told himself to kill the cobra that lurks in a pile of firewood near his house to prevent him from biting his son and pets.
According to this man, the strange thing happened after he cut off the snake's head. The severed head suddenly turned to bite the body.
Explaining this phenomenon, the reptile experts said, the cobra head after being cut off the nervous system is not dead. It will bite animals that collide with it as a conditional reflex.
