The K5 egg-shaped robot was manufactured by Knightscope, which specializes in security patrols in Silicon Valley. It can read up to 300 license plates per minute, equipped with online video with 360 degree rotation, thermal image sensor, laser distance meter, air quality sensor and a recording device.

With these modern sensor systems, the K5 robot can quickly identify criminals and inform the security forces in the area.
