More and more foreign doctors come to work in Singapore hospitals because the country has an attractive support policy.

There are no exact statistics yet, but the lion island hospitals say the number of foreign doctors has increased more than three years ago. The average rate is currently 20% of the total number of doctors.

The cause of this trend is still government support. Three years ago, Singapore only recognized the qualifications of 24 medical schools around the world; But now this number is 120 schools.

Not only that, the most important is the policy to support research. The US government banned researchers from using embryonic stem cells, but Singapore did not.

This is the ideal research environment for some researchers such as Prof. Uwe Klima, an Austrian physician working at Singapore National University Hospital (NUH).

Because of that, Mr. Klima refused to be the head of an anatomy department of an Austrian hospital to receive staff at NUH.'In the long run, when we work in Singapore, we will gain more experience and can bring them home,' he said.
