Smart robots can work together in teams

At a demonstration in Tokyo, Japan, Honda Motor Company introduced a pair of Asimo robots, which can carry tea for guests and work together to do more. These robots walked very carefully as they moved around the room, picked up, lowered the drink tray and pushed the car around.

Honda has developed a system where robots can communicate, so they can share information with each other.

The 1.3 m tall Asimo robot is now much smarter and can do a lot of work without human help. For example, it can choose to drink and bring the correct drink to the caller.

The Asimo robot is highly mobile thanks to technology that allows it to predict how people will move in order not to collide. In particular, it can automatically move to the nearest charging point when the power is below the preset level.

Honda Motor started its robot production in 1986. Their rival, Toyota Motor Corporation, also fiercely contested by strengthening its robotic research team and launching a robotic- feather last weekend.

Other Japanese companies, such as Hitachi, Fujitsu and NEC, are also researching robots.

Asimo was first refurbished for lease in 2000. It is considered the smartest robot in the world because it can walk, even run slow, waving, avoiding obstacles and single communication. simple "We hope that in the next ten years, there will be robot work in every corner of the city," said Tomohiko Kawanabe of Honda's Center for Basic Technology Research .
