Solar storm attacks the earth

The US Aerospace Agency (NASA) has warned of a storm approaching from Earth due to intense eruption on the surface of the sun. Power systems and satellite services may be affected.

According to CNET, NASA has discovered a violent eruption on the surface of the sun on August 20. Our host star releases billions of particles into space at 917km / sec and they are flying towards the earth.

NASA estimates that these particles will invade the earth within one to three days and will cause magnetic storms.

'At 917km / sec, particles cannot penetrate the atmosphere and affect human health, but they can affect electronic systems, satellites, ground power' - NASA said.

Therefore, power outages, mobile phone systems and global positioning (GPS) may be paralyzed. Earlier this year, a magnetic storm caused the radio communications on Earth to stall. In 1989, a massive storm caused widespread power outages in Quebec, Canada.

In addition to affecting the electrical and satellite systems, magnetic storms can create beautiful aurora with green, red, and blue skin. When high-speed particles collide with the earth's magnetic field, they lighten the atmosphere.
