The solar storm is approaching Earth
A strong solar storm is on its way to Earth and can cause damage to the grid, satellites and communication systems.
Tom Berger - director of the Space Weather Forecast Center in Boulder, Colorado (USA) said this is the first time in years that there has been a strong storm like this from the black streaks in the center of the sun.

However, according to the forecast, its most powerful power will only pass through our planet and not cause significant damage.
In a statement late September 10 (US time), Berger said recent calculations from satellite data show that the most powerful molecule from the sun will likely go north or above Earth, because so it only causes some changes in the Earth's magnetic field, affecting the grid but does not cause wide-area power outages.
It can also cause minor disturbances in satellites and communication systems."We are not afraid of this solar storm," Berger said.
Currently the storm is moving at about 4 million km / h, meaning it can reach Earth in the early morning of September 12 (American time) or later.
Solar storms occur frequently, especially during the peak of the solar cycle, and do not harm humans directly.
