The solar wind is flying to the earth

Notice by the US Aeronautics and Space Agency (NASA) on January 25 said a solar wind (CME) will fly to earth from the next 1-3 days.

Observations from the Earth-Sun Observatory and the Japan Observatory run by NASA and the European Space Agency (ESA) show that CME leaves the sun at a relatively high speed, more than 600 km / sec.

CME toward Earth can cause geomagnetic storm phenomenon when it comes into contact with the earth's magnetic layer. This weather phenomenon is likely to affect electrical systems or satellite information systems (GPS).

However, NASA announced that the solar wind at this level did not cause strong geomagnetic storms but could cause aurora in North and Antarctica.

Currently, the US National Weather and Space Center's Center for Space Forecasting is closely monitoring this solar wind.
