SpaceX rocket suddenly exploded just before the launch time

A SpaceX rocket from the aerospace company suddenly exploded at the launch pad at Cape Canaveral, Florida, USA before the launch day, rocking the surrounding buildings and creating a black column of smoke in the sky.

According to Reuters, the explosion occurred at 9 am on September 1 local time at the 40 launch pad that SpaceX Company hired at the Station of Cape Canaveral Air Force Base. SpaceX claimed there was no injury in the explosion, but an unusual occurrence in the static test caused the Falcon 9 missile to be destroyed.

"Our emergency treatment teams are handling the case," said spokesman Bryan Purtell of Cape Canaveral Air Force Base Station.

The explosion was so strong that it shook buildings in a radius of several kilometers and created a column of black smoke rising high in the sky . "We really think the building is collapsing. It makes us shake violently," said a witness.

SpaceX plans to launch the 29th Falcon rocket on the early morning of September 3, local time to bring Israel's AMOS-6 information satellite to orbit. Authorities have not clarified the scale of the damage as well as whether the explosion affected Space X's plan to launch dozens of commercial satellites and NASA.

Aerospace company SpaceX was founded in 2002 in California and is owned by American billionaire Elon Musk. SpaceX aims to develop reusable rockets and private space tourism at low cost.

SpaceX used Falcon 9 missiles to deliver goods to the International Space Station (ISS) in May 2012. This successful test flight marks the first private company spacecraft's event on ISS. Last December, SpaceX landed a Falcon 9 missile on the landing platform. Since then, SpaceX has added 5 safe ground boosters.
