The Dragon will be launched from Cape Canaveral Air Force Base in Florida on October 7 or 8.
This is the first flight included in the contract that SpaceX committed to provide 12 supply flights for ISS.

Dragon will bring 1,000 pounds (about 454kg) of supplies, including important materials to support the crew's 166 scientific studies, including 63 new studies.
Head of Sunita Williams of NASA and Aki Hoshide of Japan Expedition 33 crew will be responsible for connecting ISS to Dragon on October 10.
The intention is that Dragon will return to Earth at the end of October in the Pacific Ocean, off the coast of southern California.
