Special 'quality' pirates in history, more than Caribbean pirates
Pirates and stories about them are always the topic of great attraction for adventure enthusiasts. Blindfolded people, living on boats roaming all over the sea with lust for wealth and treasure have created endless inspiration for filmmakers and novelists.
Today, we learn about other pirates who are "very good", extremely famous and especially . successful in the profession.
1. Black Bart - Pirates also have the concept of "success"?
The time between 1719 and 1722 had a name that became the fear of any seafarer. Just by seeing the sign of the man in the distance, everyone knew that he could turn his head and keep his distance. Simply by clashing with Bartholomew Roberts - the pirate known as Black Bart - will never end well.
For nearly 3 years, Black Bart robbed more than 400 boats.
Black Bart had a habit of robbing the entire ship that appeared on his voyage across the Caribbean Sea. For nearly 3 years, Black Bart robbed more than 400 boats - a number that helped him to be considered the most successful pirate of all time. Bartholomew Roberts's ability to "sneak away" a boat as an expert, deserves his popularity in history.
Like many other pirates, Roberts did not intend to wander around the sea to plunder like that. He was once a tall, charismatic man with a nice dress with the greatest passion for expensive clothes and accessories.
Roberts' "career" was only started in 1719, at which time he was working as a vice-captain on a boat carrying a slave named Princess. The boat was then attacked by Howell Davis's pirate crew, and Roberts was arrested by Davis for him.
Although initially hesitant, Roberts finally realized, piracy is the life for him all he wishes: money, jewelry and luxurious costumes.
2. Calico Jack - the life of an interesting pirate
Not a successful pirate, but Jack succeeds in another way by making his pirate life extremely interesting.
John Jack Rackham.
John Jack Rackham is known by his famous name, Calico Jack, because he simply wears a shirt with calico fabric. However, what makes Calico Jack "different" from pirates in general, is the presence of two female sailors in his crew.
In a brief career from 1718 to 1720, Calico Jack did not get much wealth and safety throughout the Caribbean thanks to the insidious mind and the habit of stabbing others. Although not famous for its leadership or wealth, the creation of a new symbol on the Calico pirate flag is a great influence for that era.
Before Calico's time, the Jolly Roger flag often had the symbol of a human skeleton accompanied by a weapon or something. Such as Blackbeard 's "Black Beard" flag is a one-handed skeleton with an hourglass, a hand holding a spear stabbed into the heart.

But instead of the traditional "design" , Calico liked his black skull-shaped flag and spread it everywhere. Until now, no one remembers the image of the "old" pirate flag anymore, but every mention of pirates is the first sign of a cross-skull symbol. Success as a designer instead of a pirate is what makes Calico Jack unique in the "pirate" village .
3. And there are also female pirates
As mentioned above, in the crew of Calico Jack there are two female pirates who have brought "names" to him, namely Mary Read and Anne Bonny - Calico's lover. These are truly two independent, brave and brave female sailors no less than any other sailor.
Rumor has it that Bonny used to beat a man who was dead alive when he tried to harass her. Bonny is also known for his ability to "cultivate" alcohol like water, "dancing" swords with other sailors.
Bonny used to beat a man who came to live without his death.
For Read's story, it was not difficult for her to work on a ship between a male crew. Read from a young age was raised as a son because her mother was forced to find a way to hide the house of her brother's death. They also directed Read to become a future sailor.
And as fate had been, Read's boat was seized by Calico Jack on his way to the Caribbean. Once again reluctant, Read became a pirate in the male form in 1720. Here, she became acquainted with Anne Bonny. A great feat for the couple was to lead the battle against the raid attack with small fishing boats and merchant boats in the summer and autumn of 1720.
Even knowing that he didn't have a lot of rights, on any ship, Bonny was not given the respect she deserved, nor was the assignment assigned to other sailors. But she still loves life wandering the sea and Read as well, no matter how much their lives go.
