Speed record car power has been broken

An English aristocrat broke the world record set in 40 years on the maximum speed of electric cars on the set, with a new record of 328km / h.

Former British Minister of Science, Mr Drayson was named in history after his modified Lola Le Mans race car speedometer "sorrows" on.

The new record was made on the runway at the British Air Force's Elvington Airport in Yorkshire on June 25.

According to PC Magazine, the previous record was 281km / h on FIA's Battery Box Electric, in 1974.

This Drayson-led Lola Le Mans is the product of his Drayson Racing based in Oxford.

Mr Drayson, 53, became a businessman after leaving the post of Minister of Science from 2008 to 2010.
