Standard suitors is always best?
Australian scientists have found a formula to help those in love calculate the best time to ask for marriage to the other half.
Telegraph said, the formula was created by a group of experts in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics of the University of New South Wales. They base themselves on the age at which each individual starts looking for a partner.
'Applying mathematics to heart problems is always risky. In human life every time we face love we must think very carefully. But if you want to find the best time to start a serious emotional relationship, this recipe might be helpful, ' said Professor Tony Dooley, lead researcher, in Sydney Daily Telegraph.
Dooley admits the formula's success rate is not high, only about 40%.
The formula of the Dooley group is made as follows:
Choose the highest age you want to get married and call it n.
Decide on the earliest age you want to find your partner seriously and call it p.
Take n minus p, then multiply the number by 0.368.
Adding results to p will find the most ideal age to ask for marriage.
(n - p) x 0.368 + p = ideal age
For example, the highest age you want to get married is 39, the earliest age you want to find a partner is 20. Apply the formula we have (39-20) x 0.368 + 20 = 27. So you should be open marriage proposal at 27 years old.
