It was designed by Warwickshire Company to not drip water on the shoulders of other people or risk poking people's faces nearby.

The owner of Hospitality Umbrellas is 48-year-old Stephen Collier, giving the idea of ​​a unique umbrella design during the windy and rainy Grand National horse race in 2012. He wanted to design an umbrella. Specials can be used useful when watching sports events at standing in the crowd.

Therefore, he designed a model like a helmet for motorcyclists. It was shaped like a dome so as not to spread too wide and made the person standing nearby afraid to be poked into the eyes by small canopies.

To make this umbrella, Mr. Collier asked the designers and product developers at Warwick University (WMG) of Warwick University.

Later, he tested his design at using a wind tunnel at Coventry University. Canopy of this umbrella when expanded 65cm and weighing 0.5kg. It has a height of 90cm and can be folded neatly to be small for convenient carrying.

This product is funded by the European Regional Development Fund and the International Institute for Creative Products and Services under the University of Warwick.
