The unmatched killer whale off the coast of Port Elizabeth, South Africa will probably not be able to survive without family members hunting and feeding it.

The handicapped whale loses the right dorsal and pectoral fins so it is not capable of hunting. It may have died without the help of family members sharing some food.
Photographer Rainer Schimpf took pictures of family members taking care of the handicapped whale without abandoning it.
This is one of the very few cases of dedicated killer whales taking care of their homosexuals that are unable to hunt. It shows that this horrible predator also has love, sympathy, and sharing difficulties with each other.
"The members of the whale-caring family of whales show that this mammal is not only a ruthless killing machine but also emotional, caring and caring for the disabled members handicap ", photographer Schimpf said.
Mr. Schimpf took a picture of this particular animal while watching and observing 7 "killing machines" and hunting a 15m long gray back whale and weighing about 15 tons.
This handicapped whale measures with other family members standing outside watching the hunting process.
Killer whales are predators and kill larger whales to eat meat.
This is the second case of a handicapped killer whale discovered since 1996. At that time, the researchers found a baby lacking a tail and part of the dorsal fin. They said that it was caused by entangled in the boat propeller.
After a long time people did not see and thought it was dead. But 7 years later, it appeared again.
That handicapped killer whale was last seen off the coast of Queensland, Australia in 2008.
