Strangely, the man gave poisonous snakes regularly every week

For many years, this man suffered hundreds of snake bites, even hospitalized and almost died five times.

Joe Quililan , 31, from Cagayan de Oro City, Philippines, has been dubbed the 'snake venom' for his habit and unusual abilities. At the age of 14, he happened to face a Filipino cobra but due to his inexperience in handling the situation, Joe was bitten by this snake. Even so, Joe never went to the hospital but quietly went home, living like any other normal day.

Normally, when being bitten by this snake, humans will find it difficult to breathe. If you do not quickly absorb the poison, it is likely that the victim will lose consciousness, more serious than death. However, Joe is completely healthy like never happened. After the incident, Joe found himself with a special immune system with cobra venom. Since then, he has always tried to find ways to improve it.

Recently, Joe claimed he had achieved a goal of immunity to snake venom . He said that to achieve this, he had to go through a very difficult process. During the past few years, he suffered hundreds of snake bites, one of them also caused him to be hospitalized, even nearly 5 times death. And yet, one of his fingers was cut off because the snake venom was too poisonous.

Joe said: 'There are many times I encounter very aggressive snakes, but I do not want to give up because they can help me immune to venom later.'

In order to increase his resistance, Joe gave the snake a bite on his body once a week, in addition, every 3 weeks, he directly injected snake venom into his body to be stronger. The special 'talent' was also put on television by Joe. After the impressive performance, his blood was taken to the Institute of Tropical Medicine for analysis. Test results show that his body is able to neutralize the cobra venom.

Eleonor Cervantes, a senior scientific researcher, said: 'We found that he could actually be immune to cobra venom. This is the first time we've encountered such a special case. '

Joe is currently working at the Philippine Department of Environment and Natural Resources with the main task of protecting snakes, while helping people to better understand their role in the natural environment. ' I love snakes. I want people to realize they're not as dangerous as we thought , 'Joe said.

Joe Quililan is not the first to use this painful and dangerous method to enhance immunity to snake venom. Earlier, another man, Tim Friede, also claimed he had the same ability.
