Strangely, the snakes crawled on the tall trees, staring at the sky

A hunter in the US state of New Mexico just recorded a video showing a scene of a 'circus' rattlesnake on a tree, the UPI newspaper reported.

Frank Gonzalez, 33, saw a rattlesnake 1.5-1.8 meters long while looking for deer hunting locations in southwestern New Mexico.

Snakes crawl on the tops of trees like a circus.

"I stepped on a rattlesnake on a hunting trip last year. So I always look down on the ground, so that doesn't happen again," Gonzalez told the Fort Worth Star-Telegram.

"But today, I see this snake hanging from the tree and swinging. At first, I thought it was a winding rope."

Gonzalez said he was shocked by the unusual position of the snake.

"They're scary when they're on the ground , " he said. "They are still hanging in the trees now."

Snake experts say rattlesnakes can crawl on trees but this is not common. This snake may have been dropped here by a bird of prey, netizens commented.
