Super volcano on Mars

Scientists discovered super-volcanoes on Mars with the power to bury the planet in dust and rock.

The super volcanic system was discovered in the northern highlands of Mars, a place not previously known for the volcanic activity of the past, Sky News reported.

When analyzing images of satellites orbiting Mars orbit, researchers from the London Museum of Natural History and the US Aeronautics and Space Agency (NASA) discovered at least one giant and massive volcano Evidence suggests that other volcanoes erupted lava and dust.

These giant volcanoes are comparable to the super volcanoes on earth, including volcanoes in Yellowstone National Park, USA.

Previously, volcanoes were once found on Mars. The team's findings, published in the journal Nature, show that Mars works very early and volcanic eruptions may have affected the climate and atmosphere of the red planet.

Super volcano Eden Patera , 85km wide and 1.8km deep is the clearest evidence for the operation of suspected super volcanoes on Mars. Super volcanoes can erupt lava thousands of times more than conventional volcanoes.
