Table measuring the danger of reversing of popular vehicles: Scary truck double car!

A study of the blind spot distance of vehicles will give us specific numbers, thereby helping you be more aware when using and encountering these vehicles.

There are many pitiful accidents due to parents or relatives who have been unable to observe the vehicle due to the blind spot, causing an accident for their own children.

According to the report of the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety - IIHS, a nonprofit organization created in 1959 by car insurers, about 300 people die each year and 18,000 Injured people are involved in a reversal accident.

Most of them are elderly or children (which is sadly 70% of cases caused by parents or relatives). The main cause is blind areas (blind zones).

This is the area where the driver cannot see from the driver's seat that they sit on, even if viewed through the rearview mirror, there are many reasons to reduce the driver's vision (increasing blind areas) like the design of the car (high chair, small glass .) or even the driver height!

Consumer Reports, to help users of the vehicle understand the magnitude of the blind area on their vehicles, conducted measurements of hundreds of popular vehicles, with an average driver's height of 1.73 m and those of Drive has a height of 1m54 at a loss!

Research has shown an important result: the bigger the vehicle, the greater the danger, the greater the blind area!

In addition, the study also points out that two-seater (roadster) or hatchback cars are the smallest blind area. And pickup trucks (pickup truck) have the longest (after) blind area.

It must be said that, in all types of land transportation, large trucks such as containers are the largest blind area (commonly known as No-Zone), depending on the type of vehicle and its size each type will There are different No-Zone zones.

Normally, this zone will consist of 4 areas (front, rear and sides of trucks), if the front of No-Zone area will last 6m to 7.6m (25ft), while the rear can reach 61m (200ft, equivalent to more than 15 lengths of car body), the two sides are even wider (to the edge of the road).

That is why you should avoid going near large container cars because it will be extremely dangerous if the driver cannot see your presence.
