Thailand uses robots to authenticate authentic Thai food
The Thai government is launching a robot-based project to determine whether the dish is truly authentic Thai. In essence, this is a form of "electronic blade" , using a sensor system to analyze the chemical composition of food, then compare with the standard Thai cuisine style to give the final rating. This unique device is expected to be used in restaurants not only in Thailand but also in many other countries in the future.
In fact, electronic blades are not a new idea. In the past, scientists have developed sensors that can recognize the taste of food as well as drinks. However, the Thai government announced that the Thai Food Board project would use an entirely new system: a smart robot capable of measuring the odor and taste of ingredients in the dish.
The prototype "electronic blade" robot can authenticate Thai food
By using a 10-sensor system and microchip, the electronic blade device measures the electrical conductivity of food samples with different voltage intensities for chemical composition analysis and general standard. to make the final conclusion on a scale of 100. According to the developers, the device is fully capable of evaluating the dish as a true culinary critic.
After completion, the device will be sold to Thai embassies in all countries of the world for $ 18,000. Then, the Thai embassy will use it to appraise and license local restaurants that can cook Thai food properly. Even some comments suggest that a certification system should be set up, reviewing Thai restaurants and sanctioning places where Thai food can not be cooked properly.
At present, this exciting device will continue to grow in the future with a budget of up to 30 million baht and will be officially launched as soon as possible in the future.
