The Thai people saw the image of a big fireball, supposedly from a meteorite, cut across the sky and emitted strong light.

RT reported that the phenomenon was recorded in Bangkok at rush hour in the morning of September 7, around 8.45 am (local time). Some people witnessed this scene depicting a blue and orange fireball when rushing towards the Earth.

The size of the fireball is considered quite large, when people in the Sisawat area of ​​Kanchanaburi province, about 200km from Bangkok, witnessed the same thing. According to Thai PBS, they heard a thunderous roar. Some people even heard two explosions.

Kanchanaburi officials said there were no reports of aircraft falling in the area. Many people share on Twitter that fireballs also appear in the city of Nakhon Ratchasima, Korat. Images and videos recorded this phenomenon posted online shortly afterwards.

However, representatives of Bangkok Planetarium confirmed that there were no reports of the occurrence of meteorites at the time.
