An unexpected fireball lit the night sky in Puno, Peru near the border with Bolivia made local people worried.

According to RT, locals in southern Peru reported the occurrence of violent noises like an earthquake and a blazing fire around a round object in the night sky.

Many people are concerned that it is the flying saucer's appearance. However, the Peruvian Air Force quickly revealed the source of the incident to prevent rumors about flying saucers.

According to the confirmation, the falling object debris could be the fuel tank of a satellite that is no longer used or known.

Walter Guevara, director of astrophysics at the Space Universe Research and Development Commission, confirmed that "the Peruvian fireball is exactly one part of the old satellite that falls into ".

Objects fall to the ground with spherical shape, made of metal. When it falls into the earth's atmosphere, it creates a fireball effect. However, Peruvian officials still do not know which unit the satellite belongs to.
