The 8m-deep black fire pit raises the hypothesis of landing UFOs
Many Mexicans believe that the culprit causing the huge smoke-laden black hole next to the highway is an unidentified flying object.
Motorists across the highway Torreón - Saltillo, Coahuila state, Mexico, discovered a fuming pit on January 17, Earth Chronicles reported.
The soil below is black, burning and constantly emitting smoke.
The hole has a diameter of 8m and is also 8m deep. The soil below is black, burning and constantly emitting smoke. The area found a hole without a population. The nearest residential area is about 1.3 km to the west.
The image of a pits appearing on social networks immediately sparked speculation. Some people believe that this is a consequence of one, but the authorities did not detect any meteorite under the hole.
Experts believe that meteorites crashing into the Earth often break into small pieces and ignite in the air, leaving no such compact holes.
Many people believe that this is the result of a landing on the ground or take off, causing the soil below to burn black and create a deep pit. The Mexican authorities have yet to find an explanation for this strange phenomenon.
