The Italian Institute of Culture began displaying a mechanical lion based on a 500-year-old manuscript by painter Leonardo da Vinci.

The famous mechanical lion designed by Leonardo da Vinci in 1517 has been completely restored and launched at the Italian Cultural Institute in Paris, France. The work will be displayed within a month from 9/11, to commemorate the great painter of the Renaissance.

The construction is made of wood with a metal structure, length x height is 3 x 2 m. This horoscope is one of Leonardo's designs to please King Francois I (reigned France from 1515-1547).
