The cosmic particle may be the way to find out how the pyramid was built

Data from Muyon County could help scientists find a secret chamber.

For decades, scientists have made numerous theories about how the ancient Egyptians built giant pyramids. Even so, no theory has been proven so far. And to find new evidence, a group of researchers decided to collect cosmic particles inside the pyramid in hopes of shedding light on the secrets they hold.

Universe particles can reveal how the pyramid was built.

Beginning in the past few months, a group of Egyptian scientists has installed many ultra-sensitive sensors inside the Bent pyramid, 40km south of Cairo. They will help collect data from invisible subatomic particles called Muyon.

These Muyon particles are produced when cosmic rays from deep space outside the Solar System interact with the Earth's atmosphere. They constantly settle down on our planet's surface at the same speed as light. On average, about 10,000 Muyon seeds per minute fall on each square of the planet's surface.

Muyon County carries more energy than X-rays. Therefore, they easily pass through empty spaces but will be strongly absorbed or deflected by dense materials, typically pyramid blocks.

Exploiting this feature, scientists can use data from Muyon particles to create a map of the pyramid. It will reveal evidence of construction techniques or help scientists find a secret chamber. This technique has previously been used to map volcanic structures.

"Talking about how the ancient Egyptians built pyramids, no theory was given with 100% solid evidence. All these are just hypotheses," said Hany Helal, vice president. The Egyptian Institute for Advanced Heritage said.

"What we are trying to do is to test the accuracy of hypotheses. In case of necessity, data from cosmic particles can be used to change or add new hypotheses. how pyramid is built ".

Currently, the research team said the data on cosmic particles at the Bent pyramid were collected. They will soon pass the analysis phase. The result will reveal which areas are empty or dense. Thereby, scientists will understand how this great work was built and the secrets it holds.

"Even if we find 1 square meter of absent space particles, it will bring new questions, create a new hypothesis to answer," said Mehdi Tayoubi, chairman of the Institute for Advanced Heritage. Egypt said.

An unusual sign of heat in Khufu pyramid.

The Pyramid Bent was built about 4,600 years ago by Pharaoh Sneferu. The reason it was chosen as the research object using new technology because this is the first smooth pyramid that Egypt built. The previous pyramids had a ladder-like outer surface.

Again, this is not the first time scientists have used Muyon county data to study the pyramid. Back in the 1960s, scientist Luis Alvarez also used the same technique to search for secret rooms inside the Khafra pyramid. However, this study failed.

In 2015, a group of researchers from the Scan Pyramids project decided to restart the idea of Alvarez.

They will use more modern scanning and sensing devices in the hope of collecting sophisticated data about the pyramid structure.

In November, a thermal abnormality was discovered in Khufu pyramid of the 4,500-year-old Giza population. The team said that while analyzing data about cosmic particles at Bent Pyramid, they will also install immediately sensors in Khufu. The work is expected to be completed in a few months. Let us wait and see whether the next secret of the pyramid will be revealed.
