The cow set a record with the longest horns in the world

A bull in Alabama, USA, set a world record with the longest pair of horns, up to 3.2 meters.

According to the Daily Star, the cow named Poncho was raised by the Pope family in the town of Goodwater. The family said they had monitored the size of Poncho's horn for a long time until they were eligible to enroll in the Guinness Book of Records.

Unexpectedly, Poncho overcame another cow in Texas, to become the longest horned cow in the world.

'We raised Poncho since he was 6 months old. The Poncho name is based on a famous Mexican TV actor in the 1960s , 'said Jeral Pope.

'All the neighbors here are curious with a cow with a unique long horn. People often bring food to Poncho. It likes apples, carrots and marshmallows'.

Another family member, George Jones, said Poncho appeared to be moody when he left, but was rather scary before.'As a young man, Poncho had a smaller but more aggressive horn.'

The Guinness Book of Records in America, Claire Stephens, said : 'Though often known for bizarre things, looking at this long horned cow with a record is impressive'.
