According to many people, the curse about this town originated from a long time ago and related to the name Colobraro . This name is derived from "coluber" meaning "snake" in Latin and it represents evil.

In the beginning of the 20th century, Biagio Virgilio was a wealthy lawyer in this area. He has never lost a lawsuit and has many enemies. In a court case, the lawyer said loudly: " If I say wrong, this chandelier will fall " and that happened when he just finished speaking.

Although he did not hurt anyone, it made the name of a lawyer who was associated with bad luck. From then on, anything unfortunate that happened in the village was attributed to him. So he had to move out of town.

Much later, an anthropologist came to find "fattucchiera" - a curse magic and met an old woman called "La Cattre". Although the team has not yet begun to resolve, the team has repeatedly encountered many mysterious accidents, landslides . they called La Cattre a witch and accused Colobraro land was possessed by demons.

The Italians are quite superstitious, and the rumors that surround the village make people believe it is actually possessed by demons. However, one funny thing is that the curse only happens to tourists and weak people.
