The dog runs for nearly 2000km

A lost dog showed extraordinary determination to persist for 24 days on a nearly 2,000km journey along bicycles.

Xiao Sa's dog journey began when he "made friends" with a 22-year-old student named Zhang Heng, in Wuhan, Hubei province. He intended to travel with his friends on a bicycle to Lhasa, Tibet to make the trip.

Arriving at G318 highway in Qinghai plateau, Tibet, Zhang Heng met Xiao Sa and fed him."Seeing that the dog was lying on the road looking very tired, so we fed him, and he wanted to follow us , " the student recounted.

At first, the group thought the dog followed for fun, but then it proved that he wanted to go with the group, so they brought the small dog for 24 days.

During the journey, Xiao Sa, Zhang Heng and his friends went all the way to 1,833km, climbing over 10 mountains of more than 4,000m. The dog must run up the mountain and along the dirt road. Arriving at the slope, when the car reached the speed of 70km / h, the dog could not catch up, so Zhang Heng had to put it in the back cart.

"Many people who met the slopes gave up and got on the bus, but Xiao Sa continued to the end of the journey," Zhang Heng said.

After the trip, Zhang Heng wanted to take the dog to care. The young student joined his friends in opening a blog for Xiao Sa because the group thought that the dog gave them the spirit of the journey and they wanted people to know about the story.

Xiao Sa became famous when the blog recorded its journey to attract more than 37,000 followers in just two weeks.

The name Xiao Sa is also given by the members of the delegation. They paired the word "xiao" (ie "small") and the last syllable of "Lhasa" - the destination of the trip.
