The evidence proves that Ho Guom Turtle is 'descendant' of turtle god

According to Prof. Le Tran Binh, the hypothesis is that the Sword Lake Turtle tool associated with Hoan Kiem legend for gold turtles was recorded in Lam Son, the record was written by Le Thai To (later) when he was crowned 1428, so far. It was 582 years that is completely grounded.

Prof. Le Tran Binh, Institute of Biotechnology, Hanoi National University and his colleagues had a research project about 10 years of origin of Ho Guom Turtle.

The analytical results show that the Sword Lake Turtle is a large soft-shell turtle in Vietnam, distributed at various points on the Red River, Ma River, and Da River . in the North of our country.

The Ho Guom Turtle is a species of Shanghai, one of the five species of the Ba Ba family (including Shanghai, giant, three-three, slippery and trifling). Decoding DNA 3 samples of giant turtles in Ngoc Son temple, Ho Guom, Hanoi (weighing 200kg), in Tho Xuan district - Thanh Hoa (weighing 150kg) and Hoa Binh Provincial Museum (weighing 121kg) have resulted in same breed.

However, in all the studies, the most enduring tortoise lived only for 160 years. But it can be understood that the Sword Lake Turtle is not the tool that the King Le returned to the sword, but it is most likely the descendant of the legendary turtle .

According to many documents, Tortoise Tower was built in 1884. Up to now, this tower is only about 119-120 years old. Suppose that when the Tortoise Tower was finished (1885), if the turtle continued to be released, it would be 119 years. If the turtles are released around 30 - 40 years old, the Sword Lake will be at least 150 years old at present. If the Turtle Lake was about 150 years old, the turtle's life time would not be much.

Mr. Le Duc Minh, an officer of the Center for Natural Resources and Environment Research under Hanoi National University, added that the Red River is the moving corridor of the Ho Guom turtle. For several hundred years, it has followed the Red River route to spread into ponds, lagoons and lakes around it.

In December 2008, the Center took a sample of Dong Mo tortoise's DNA to conduct analysis. The initial results show that this individual has quite a lot of similarities with the Turtle Lake Sword tool. Although there are still differences, it is only at the population level, not at the species level.
