The Maharashtra forestry agency has mobilized 150 people to search for the big tiger. The authorities also promised to award US $ 565 to people who can provide information about Jai's location. In the past three months, there have been no reports of cattle dying on an area of 500-600 square kilometers in Jai. Jai often hunts cattle even though he rarely eats prey.

However, animal activists and wildlife protection agencies all deny the possibility of tigers being poached.

Jai's mysterious disappearance occurs when Maharashtra, one of the most crowded places in the world, is expanding its efforts to promote tiger tourism. Jai speculation experts may be going deep into the forest or looking for a suitable tiger for mating.

"Jai's survival is not a problem because he can feed cattle. There is evidence that the feeding environment makes him specialize in wandering. At the age of three, Jai passed almost 100km to search for the tiger and it succeeded, "said Sudhir Mungantiwar, head of the Maharashtra Forestry Agency.

Tiger Jai became famous all over India after that adventure, and he often traveled freely between villages and highways.
