According to the expert group of the European Space Research Organization in the southern hemisphere (ESO), US 708 star is moving at 1,200 km / s, or 4.3 million km / hour.

However, astronomers believe that US 708 is closely related to another star, even to the extent that black holes cannot separate them. According to the current hypothesis, before moving across the galaxy, US 708 was once a giant cool star, but it was absorbed by almost a star. Scientists suspect this makes the companion star explode.
