The fifth cosmonaut returned to Earth
Yesterday (April 21), billionaire Charles Simonyi, the fifth tourist to fly into space, safely returned to Earth with two American and Russian astronauts from the International Space Station (ISS).
The three-man spacecraft landed safely after a 3-hour return trip from the ISS station. A spokesperson at the Flight Control Center outside Moscow (Russia) said the landing took place "quite gently".
Simonyi looks happy after being taken out of the spaceship. He smiled and seemed very happy when talking to the reserve crew.
Returning to Earth after 7 months of work on ISS, two astronauts Mikhail Tyurin and Michael Lopez-Alegria looked tired but they quickly smiled in a video that connected to the Flight Control Center.
