The Soyuz and the crew returned to Earth safely

On September 11, the "Soyuz ТМА-08М" Spacecraft, with its crew working on the International Space Station (ISS), including Russian astronauts Pavel Vinograd, Aleksandr Misurkin and Christopher Cassidy, Americans. safely responded to Kazakhstan.

According to the Russian Flight Control Center, the ship "Soyuz ТМА-08М" safely landed at a location 146 km southeast of Dzhezkazgan city of Kazakhstan.

To make sure Soyuz returned to Earth safely, Russia mobilized four AN-12 and AN-26 transport planes, 12 Mi-8, 6 special-purpose helicopters, 17 other supporting technical units and about 200 soldiers.

What is special is that Vinograd has become the oldest Russian astronaut ever working on the universe. Last August, this veteran astronaut celebrated his 60th birthday on ISS.

Currently all activities on ISS are assigned to Russian astronaut Fyodor Yurchikhin in collaboration with other members including Karen Nyberg of the United States and Luca Parmitano of Europe.

The next crew is Oleg Kotov, Sergei Ryazan (Russian), and Michael Hopkins will be sent to the space ship "Soyuz ТМА-10М" on September 26, also from Baikonur.
