The first anti-theft bike in the world

Three young men in Chile invented the world's first unstoppable bicycle by turning the chassis into a smart lock.

Yerka - Bikes can not be stolen

Yerka 's bicycle was invented by Cristóbal Cabello, Juan José Monsalve and Andrés Roi Eggers, who came up with the idea after a member of the group lost a bicycle. Instead of the usual locks, they make the detachable frame part and easily reconnect it to the lock.

The special lock consists of a long aluminum tube mounted on the chassis. When it comes to safety, the user simply unlocks the joystick and assembles it into the frame to lock the car into a tree or lamp. The time for this operation is only 10 seconds and the only way to break the lock is to cut the body car.

In addition to the improved features, the car also has an anti-theft wheel nut component. Because it can only be removed with a special lock, this method will prevent those who intend to disassemble the wheel.

Telegraph said the company received orders to produce the first 300 cars at a retail price of $ 500 and expected $ 600 in the future.

"In the next four years, our goal is to sell about 300 units a month, delivered worldwide," Cabello said.
