The supercar named " Blade " can be considered as a great achievement of 3D printing technology. This car is capable of accelerating from 0-100 km / h in approximately 2.2 seconds - extremely fast compared to the current supercar. But the magic of this car comes from the technology that made it: 3D printing technology.

The car was created by a startup called the Divergent Microfactories in San Francisco. By using 3D printing technology, they create a chassis that is 90% lighter than conventional chassis weight. Along with that, most of the body is made up of carbon fiber instead of steel and aluminum. As a result, the car weighs only 0.7 tonnes, about one third of the other supercars on the market.

The car has a 700hp engine that can run naturally with compressed air. So this is also considered a super car friendly environment.

" The way we make a car is more important than anything else, and we need to look at how we make cars, " said Divergent CEO Kevin Czinger . Production will triple in the next few decades, and if we do not look at it, we will destroy it ourselves. "

These cars will be produced in a certain amount, but the main purpose of this startup is to find a way to resell their technology to a large car manufacturer - the current direct-car production.
