The inventor of pigs by herbal bio-food

The annoyance of animal waste causing environmental pollution, harmful food residues, Mr. Ta Hung Dau (Phuc Yen, Vinh Phuc province) has spent many years trying to invent a food for pigs have a combination of herbs, to increase animal productivity, create clean meat and contribute to reducing pollution.

Pigs eat . herbs

Starting the story with the honesty of a farmer, Mr. Dau is working at Phuc Yen Extension Station, saying that after graduating from the University of Agriculture, he returned to work at Vinh Phuc animal quarantine station .

Here, every time he inspects vehicles carrying animals, Mr. Dau finds it extremely uncomfortable because of the stench from feces, waste water of pigs and cows, especially in the hot season or drizzling days, fecal water. It is very dirty to spread to the street.

When breeding models using industrial bran feed were spread, being 'in the industry' , Mr. Dau understood that this bran helped livestock grow quickly, but exchanging it was the implications for food. consumers are not easy to detect.

Since then, Mr. Dau decided to study with the desire to find a biological food to limit these problems, but must contribute to increasing productivity and meat production.

Reading a lot of books and documents, this 1969-born man discovered remedies to help middle gas, urine and human feces when emitting less odor. And, since 2000, the research door has begun to be opened.

In the early days of the study, Mr. Dau had to go to the regions to look for herbs, and then combined with the pig's regular food. Sometimes, this herb is very well fed but does not grow, or in other herbs, pigs have growth but are slower than industrial food, meat is not red, not delicious .

According to Dau's calculation, every year, he burns the research about 40-50 million dong. Failure, but Mr. Dau did not budge, but urged his determination to find other herbs accordingly. In order to have money for research, Mr. Dau had to work as a hired laborer for the farmers through medical treatment, vaccination for veterinarians and even poor wages. Family economy, he had to rely on his wife to be a high school teacher .

Also thanks to the medical treatment for herds of cattle and poultry, he mobilized some households to carry out experiments with him. Initially, people were reluctant to give pigs only some of the bran that Mr. Dau brought, and then fed them gradually. Then in 2006, Mr. Dau succeeded in finding his own 'esoteric' formula. His pork was analyzed and analyzed by the Department of Food Analysis and Inspection (Food Industry Institute) and found no residue such as chloramphenicol, Oxolinic acid, E.Coli, Tetracyline, Shamonella . And, his pigsty is not as stinking as other breeding areas.

In 2007, Mr. Dau registered as a scientific topic of "Research on bio-food to create clean pork for people and exports" , and accepted the provincial project.

To deploy the topic to a large extent, Mr. Dau agreed to transfer to Thanh Cong Biotechnology Development Joint Stock Company. This unit cooperates with Thien Hop Company to produce bio-food for breeding, about 5 tons per month. According to Mr. Dau, the ingredients for mixing this special bran include soybean meal, grain corn, molasses, turmeric, salt, herbs, minerals, rice bran . Among them, herbs is uncertain, and mixing must follow a strict formula.

In 2011, this solution of Mr. Ta Hung Dau was granted a patent by the National Office of Intellectual Property (Ministry of Science and Technology) of utility solution No. 919 according to Decision No. 38711 / QD-SHTT. The author himself received many certificates of merit at the provincial level and also by the creative labor awarded by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.

Currently, Thanh Cong Company cooperates with Mr. Dau to raise pig farms in Mong Cai up to thousands of pigs to supply pork to Hanoi, Mong Cai and Vinh Phuc markets . in Tien Chau (Phuc) Yen), Mr. Dau has a small pig farm with 30 cows to test and upgrade technology. Every year, Mr. Dau still brings his pork to the analytical facilities to verify, and yet his pork sample has residue exceeding the permitted level.

Talking about the development direction, Mr. Dau said that he is still looking for investors to be able to have capital and machinery to develop more widely, proceeding to export. Because bio-food, though higher than industrial feed from 700 VND to 1,000 VND / kg, its advantage is to reduce pollution of livestock areas, create clean food and growth of livestock. equivalent to industrial food, so the demand in the population is huge.

Therefore, in addition to seeking investors, Mr. Dau is planning herbal growing areas in some northern mountainous provinces, creating a wider material area for later production of bran.
