The largest black hole ever discovered

Astronomers at San Diego University in California (USA) have discovered the largest black hole ever. This black hole has 15.65 times the mass of our Sun and is " hidden " inside a galaxy of Messier 33.

Jerome Orosz, head of the astronomers' group, said the newly discovered black hole is inside Picture 1 of The largest black hole ever discovered Milky Way Messier 33. In addition, astronomers also discovered that a " companion " star of this black hole has an even greater weight, 70 times the amount of the Sun.

According to astronomers, black holes are the most powerful bodies in the universe that can produce a magnetic field so strong that no matter, including light, can escape from their attraction.

Black holes formed from stars are " collapsed " after burning up the fuel, causing their size to shrink dramatically. Normally black holes have a mass of 3 to 14 or 15 times the mass of the Sun.

However, there is also a type of " super-large " black hole located in the center of the galaxies. These black holes can have millions or even billions of times the mass of the Sun.
