The magic of MRI images of babies when they are with their mothers

Everyone knows that motherhood is the most sacred thing in the world. But to prove it by science, few people have done it. This has inspired American neurologist Rebecca Sax to explore and spend many years researching to find the answer.

Rebecca and colleagues selected MRI brain imaging to demonstrate the relationship between mother and child . During the 6-year study, the shocking results were only published publicly after the first magnetic resonance picture taken with her 2-month-old son was taken.

This MRI image was taken when neuroscientist Rebecca Sax carried her and kissed her 2-month-old son with a surge of love.

This is the world's first magnetic resonance image showing the connection between a mother and a child. This kiss triggered a chemical reaction in her son's brain, and produced a lot of oxytocin hormones - a hormone that shows attachment and love. This is really a great picture and completely defeats the notion that "What do children know".

Neuroscientist Rebecca Sax and mother in the picture above said : "The moment the son was born, it was laid on my chest, he was so warm and plump. The first time I looked into my eyes I was very in love with him, and I wanted to know his brain as soon as possible, and I spent many hours studying in the MRI scanner with my little son to find ways to collect data ".

This scan was taken when Rebecca was holding and kissing her 2-month-old son in order to find out what was going on inside the mother and baby's skull. Usually MRI images are taken for doctors, to find a tumor or a blocked blood vessel. Scientists also create images, to study brain function and development.

"However, in the lab at MIT - the Center for Neuroscience and Brain Research (USA), we use MRI to track the flow of blood through a child's brain. We read to our children the sentences. The story of how the brain works changes with each story. In this way, we study how children perceive those around them, " Rebecca added.

To get this special picture, Rebecca and her son have to try 25 scans every day. The sound of the scanner was also very noisy, Rebecca and her son had to wear a noise-canceling button by their ears. She also had to rely on the great support from the technicians to choose the most beautiful, most vivid picture.

This extremely special magnetic resonance image was made not for diagnostic purposes, but simply to create the most intuitive picture of the relationship of a mother and child.

This is an image using modern technology but a bit traditional for generations. Motherhood is inherently sacred and an indisputable symbol, a testament to the relationship between mother and child.

The picture shows that when parents give their children affection and affection, the children will receive the same affection. The child's brain is stimulated to release a special hormone that helps to bond and love more.

The spread of love is real, any child deserves to be accepted. That's the special and meaningful message that scientists want to convey to all parents through this great photo.
