The Mars probe arrived at the crater Endeavor
NASA space aerospace agency said the Mars exploration device Opportunity sent signals to the crater Endeavor on Mars on August 9.
After nearly three years of landing on Mars, Opportunity will conduct analysis of the lava and shape of Endeavor volcano this year. This crater is about 22km wide.
The NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory scientist said Opportunity will take samples at this crater to analyze it to find out the factors and materials that make up Mars.
Scientists have previously said that Mars's environment is warmer, wetter than it is today. On the volcanic surface Endeavor has clay and other minerals. Scientists identified these minerals as the atmosphere and atmosphere on Mars formed.
In January 2004, the Mars probe Opportunity landed on the Martian surface with a design that only operated here for 3 months, but so far, Opportunity has been operating for more than 7 years.
